Cynthia developed her vast experience of property management during her past 25 years of working at a public housing authority.   While administering both the Section 8 and public housing programs she designed and implemented a homeownership program, resurrected a defunct Family Self-Sufficiency program and revived a troubled Section 8 program.  While at the agency, Cynthia hired, trained and supervised staff, monitored and assessed program compliance, directed a maintenance department and wrote grant applications, policies and procedures.
 
Recognized by the Honorable John Dingell of the U. S. House of Representative in 2006, Cynthia was commended for her, "expertise, enthusiasm and equal treatment of all" during her 24 years dedicated to community service.

As a trainer, Cynthia brings warmth and excitement to her workshops, frequently earning comments such as, "best trainer I've ever seen", and "kept me awake and interested the whole time".

Cynthia is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management, National Association of Housing & Redevelopment Officials, the Detroit Metropolitan Apartment Association, and the American Society of Training and Development.  She has earned her certification in Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) compliance,  Assisted Housing Manager (AHM), Public Housing Manager (PHM) and Housing Quality Standards inspections.
